The Charity has a financial endowment which is professionally managed to produce an annual income to spend on projects that provide general benefit to the residents of Stoke Golding in line with our charitable objectives
This includes but is not limited to:
Community well-being and social cohesion
Education and skills development
Health and recreation
Environmental improvements
Cultural and community events
Grants are open to community groups, charities, and local organisations. Applications from the Parish Council are considered if no public funding is likely to be available for their proposal. The charity does not currently make grants to individuals.
Each year we award many grants ranging from a few hundred pounds to several thousand pounds and sometimes above. Please get in touch if you think we can help you with your project.
We welcome applications for grants that meet our eligibility criteria. Please click the link below to download an editable application form and guidance notes.
If you would like to discuss your proposed project before submitting an application please contact the Secretary by email in the first instance with your contact details.
Grant decisions are normally made at Trustee meetings held bi-monthly. Our next Trustee meeting is on Tuesday 7th October 2025. Applications need to be received by Monday 29th September 2025 for consideration at this meeting.
The many wonderful organisations in the village provide a whole range of facilities and activities which improve and enrich the community. We are delighted when we can help fund their projects. Our funding is often matched with other available grants and funds raised by the organisations themselves.
We also directly fund and organise the Village Christmas Lights and the Lights Switch On event held in Park House with the kind permission of the residents.
Here are some examples of recent projects we have helped fund over the last couple of years. Take a look at the image carousel opposite too.
